Hard Rock uses Nitrogen as a fracking medium. With Nitrogen used as a fracturing medium, there are no water disposal concerns. Hard Rock's use of Nitrogen fracturing requires less surface area and water than hydraulic fracking. Nitrogen fracking is a more advanced approach than hydraulic fracturing, and replaces the fluids that are used during hydraulic fracking with Nitrogen which can also fracture rock at high pressure.


Nitrogen gas also alleviates environmental concerns. The environmental concerns involved with the produced water resultant of hydraulic fracturing. After nitrogen foam or liquid nitrogen is used to fracture a formation, it will return to a gaseous phase and rise to the surface, where it can be safely released into the atmosphere, as nitrogen gas naturally makes up 78% of ambient air.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

Hard Rock uses air-driven horizontal drilling technology to drill through the Devonian Shale pay zone. One horizontal well has the potential of replacing several vertical wells with much greater production at much lower costs and less surface disturbance. Electronic measurement devices are also used on all of the wells, which allow hourly checks on operations in order to detect problems early. All compressor facilities have the latest technology and alarms to ensure un-interrupted run time.

NITROGEN FRACKING
